I still can't believe it - I'm 40!  It's pretty surreal...  They say that age is just a number.

Well, the number that's WAY more important to me is the number of people who took the time out of their busy lives to wish me a happy birthday.  People who made me feel really special.  Thank you, ALL!

Having grown up on the biggest Croatian island Krk, seeing this picture of seagulls means only one for me - comfort!

While evaluating dozens of breath-taking pictures to create the banner for my new (this one) Website, I naturally kept gravitating back to this one.  Now I know that there are a lot of people out there not thinking much of seagulls - they perceive those birds as being annoying, noisy, flying rats.  For me, however, they represent freedom and beauty.

And if you haven't read the masterpiece "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach, you're missing out on an awful lot!

It's been about time for me to create my very own blog...

I still clearly remember days when I enjoyed keeping my diary and that fuzzy feeling of staring at a blank page starting with simply "Dear Diary"... And, yes, it WAS in the past century, thanks for asking...

Some of you may be impatient for me to start spilling my beans and revealing my "secrets" here.  For example, to tell you how in the world I managed to loose 55 lbs. in one year after having two babies back-to-back...

You'll have to stick around a bit longer for that one... :)
