For some of us, healthy relationships seem to be out of our reach.  We see happy people around us, but we don't feel "deserving" of having a loving partner. 

Maybe we grew up in a dysfunctional family and our parents argued all the time.  Being too young to know any better, we assumed that was NORMAL... And, as adults, we went on to re-create the same atmosphere in our own lives and households. 

We never really wanted to live that way, but we were CONDITIONED.  Our subconscious mind was programmed for that kind of repeat experience.

How do we break the cycle?!

Try using this EFT protocol:

On a scale 0-10, with 10 being as high as possible, identify your current relationship stress level.  That's your starting point.

Karate Chop:"Even though I feel so misunderstood and unappreciated in my relationship, I choose to love and accept myself a little bit more every day."

"Even though happiness seems to be out of my reach, I choose to feel good about myself anyway."

"Even though I crave attention and affection, and unconditional love seems to be in low supply these days, I accept all of my feelings, even the most conflicting ones, and I give myself permission to relax - I'm good enough.

Eyebrow: My love life is a mess!
Side of eye: I'm so disillusioned
Under eye: I don't believe in happy endings
Under nose: Nobody ever appreciates me
Chin: They take me for granted!
Collarbone: My relationship is not good enough
Under arm: Why even bother?
Lower rib: I'm so upset with myself!
Top of head: I might as well join a monastery!

EB: Oh, well... Life is not fair...
SE: I guess all the good partners are already taken
UE: Maybe I should just settle...
UN: I don't want to be alone...
CH: Maybe I can still relax and enjoy life.
CB: No, I can't!
UA: Yes, I will!
LR: I give myself permission to let go of all of my stress and anxiety.
TH: I have every right to be happy.  I'm lovable and loving.  I'm nice to people and they are kind to me in return.  Life is good!  It feels good to be me!

Take a deep breath and relax.  Check your level of distress again.  Did it go down?  Ideally, you want to bring it down to a zero.  If needed, you can go and do a new round of tapping.  Good luck!
