BREAKING NEWS: My 25 months old Adam is officially allergy-free!!!

His allergist tested him again on the skin of his back and there are no allergies detectable. A year ago, he had severe allergies to: milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts. Six months ago, there was a barely detectable milk allergy left and some egg sensitivity.  Today - nothing!  Thanks EFT! :)

These days, he eats all of the above without any reaction (I used to walk around with an emergency shot called EpiPen Jr. in my purse to help prevent possible anaphylactic shock in case he ate something "funny"). He's crazy about parmesan cheese and loves to eat it with a spoon...

His allergist borrowed a copy of the fantastic EFT/Tapping documentary film titled "Try It On Everything" (recently renamed "The Tapping Solution") from me today. Fun! :)

Best,

It's very likely you son just "outgrew" his allergies, as often happens with babies once their mother gets better. I'm assuming your diet and environment changed a lot, also. In any event, great news!

Dear Dr. Snavely,

How many kids do you know that "outgrew" their peanut allergy in about 2 months?

I accidentally fed him a PB&J sandwich 2 months after his initial allergy diagnosis and he had no allergic reaction whatsoever!

I did use EFT on both him and myself during those 2 months though... Isn't peanut allergy something that usually stays with people for the rest of their lives?

Back then, his allergist said literally, "I don't know what you're doing with this kid, but keep doing it - he looks great!" (that was around Adam's 1st birthday)

I'm not sure what do you mean by "once their mother gets better"... I was very healthy at the time of Adam's allergy issues (just had a bit of stubborn "baby fat" left)

And no, my environment has not changed at all through all of this. Because I wanted to continue nursing Adam, I quit eating dairy, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts initially. Later I re-introduced all the previously problematic foods.

During Adam's 18-month physical, his pediatrician exclaimed,"What are you doing with this kid?! He's exceptionally healthy! I haven't seen such a healthy little boy in the longest time!" When I mentioned EFT, he immediately wanted to know if there was anything written on it in any pediatric medical journals...

Please let me know if you have any other questions. I'd be delighted to continue this conversation with you.

BTW, what is your specialty, Dr.?
