 What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a cutting-edge self-help tool for stress management.

EFT is still almost unheard of in Iowa, USA, where I live currently.  It feels like I'm on a "mission" to spread this information to as many people as possible and am willing to talk to anyone willing to listen.

EFT is an emotional, needle-free version of acupuncture that is based on new discoveries regarding the connection between your body's subtle energies, your emotions, and your health.  It has been reported successful in thousands of cases, covering a huge range of emotional, health, and performance issues. It often works where nothing else will.

The goal of EFT is to heal unresolved emotional issues.

The theory behind EFT is that old emotional wounds are stored on the cellular level as blocked energetic patterns. EFT is acupressure for the emotions. Stimulating specific energy points by gentle tapping or rubbing releases the block, allowing our body/mind system to process the troubling problem. As the energy is brought into balance, thoughts about upsetting circumstances change, and negative emotions diminish.

EFT is a self-healing approach based on the understanding that the body and mind are inextricably intertwined.

Here's what some physicians think of EFT:

“EFT has been for me, the single most effective technique I’ve used in my 45 years of practice as a psychiatrist.”
Curtis Steele, MD

"EFT is a phenomenal healing method and is an important centerpiece of my practice. It has helped cure many of my patients with chronic problems."
Eric Robins, MD

Disclaimer:  While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it. Further, Sanja Cooklin is not a licensed health professional and offers EFT as a personal performance coach.
